Many of the best organizations are founded based on personal events, and SnapHealth is no exception. Founder and Principal Joshua Brooker received a big surprise along with the birth of his first child: the insurers could not determine who was liable to pay claims and ultimately double-billed him on the premise that his son was born in a different plan year than his wife was admitted. Out of frustration, and lack of advocacy, he started helping others sidestep common healthcare pitfalls. SnapHealth envisions a world where individuals are empowered to navigate the most efficient and affordable paths in healthcare, feel safe and cared for, and have equitable access to the best medicine available. Thread came alongside their team to help realize the beginnings of that world.
